Six pillars of the EIT PLUS PROGRAMME
The Six pillars of the EIT PLUS programme document is a response of the City of Wrocław to European Commission’s initiative to create a European Institute of Technology (EIT). The document presents Wrocław community’s proposal to locate the EIT main office and one of the EIT branches (a “knowledge community”) in Wrocław. The MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) sets the example for the proposed European Institute of Technology regarding research financing method, as well as the Institute’s structure. In the long-term, the EIT would constitute a counterbalance to its American model.
