Pierwsza edycja konkursu odbyła się w 1991 roku. Grafkom zawsze rozpoczyna się uroczystym powitaniem w kwietniowy piątek . Finaliści zaczynają swoją pracę w sobotę rano. Dla młodych ludzi czas spędzony podczas finału to nie tylko rywalizacja, ale także wspaniała zabawa. Temat finałowy zostaje odsłonięty w sobotę. Do godzin wieczornych tworzone są prace. Uroczyste rozdanie nagród i prezentacja prac jest w niedzielę.

The first edition of our contest took place in 1991. Grafkom always starts with a solemn welcome on a Friday in April. The finalists start their work on Saturday morning. Time spent by the young people during the final, is not only rivalry but also a great amusement. The subject of the final is revealed on Saturday. The works are created until late evening. The festive distribution of the awards and the exhibition of the prize-winners’ works take place on Sunday.
