Customer Ratings: - This sucks!. Sorry, but I think this game sucks, after about half an hour at it game got stuck in a room and I couldn t get out of it. I felt totally frustrated, maybe I had a dud game, but it just wasn t good.
- Solved!. It s a good game, but doesn t take that long to complete & doen t really have many levels. Plus when your mind works faster than the game and you think you have an idea what s going on before you ve had all the clues it won t let you interact which is frustrating. You have to wait until the information has been fed to you to a certain point before making an educated guess at who-dunnit!
- not terrible but.... ...not brilliant either. i, like other reviewers, really love Hotel Dusk and Phoenix Wright, infact i adore those games. i saw this game and thought it would be just as good, i even bought it before it s release here from ebay so mine is from the US. but it just wasnt all i thought it would be. the way you solve crimes is too easy, and the game was finished about a day and a half after getting it. the storyline with the girl in the hotel room was probably the best case. but it was just lacking. and the side story of the missing sister of your boss is not involved enough in the game i dont think. it s just a filler case to make you think there is more to the game than there is. it was dissapointing to be honest. i give it 3 stars though because the graphics i really liked. i m not sure i would recommend it to anyone though.
- Had real potential!. Like the other reviewers, I have played and really enjoyed Hotel Dusk and was hoping for more of the same. Certainly, Unsolved Crimes doesn t have the stylistic or atmospheric flair that Hotel Dusk does but I was enjoying solving the (quite easy) crimes ... UNTIL the second to last case. I had a feeling that this might happen- basically you have to do things in a very particular order or you just end of walking around a room. I had to go online to read a walkthrough and STILL ended up doing Case 11 FOUR times until it was in the right order, without my partner chipping in with hints and stopping the flow of play. If you have to do things in a certain order then WHY does the game let you complete them out of order?!? Basically, I am venting ... but this game had the potential to be simple, uncomplicated fun and ended up with me wanting to throw my DS out of the window! As the others have said ... go and buy Hotel Dusk!
- What a shame it has put me off buying more like this.. I had no idea that I would solve all the crimes and it would all be over in 1 week. Now I have a game I don t need and it is not worth playing again my memory is too good.
Shame it has put me off buying any more. It had no challenge to it and left me wishing I had not wasted my money.
