Performance Memory Card for Nintendo 64
Product Description: - Here is a black colored memory card for nintendo 64, it is manufactured by Interact / Performance
Customer Ratings: - Unable to Use. We have been unable to insert this card into the Nintendo 64. While it may fit, it s not the same shape as the jumper pack which would allow the card to be guided in for easy insertion and removal. Frankly, I was afraid of damaging the console and so gave up after a number of tries. Perhaps the card itself works well, but if the user can t install it, what is the point? Based on my own experience, I would not recommend this product.
- Corrupted Data. I have 3 of these memory cards and 2 of them are corrupted. Even though they worked not too long ago. The Performance Memory for the N64 is fickle in that it works great sometimes for long periods, and then it suddenly decides to corrupt all your data. It s frustrating. Just like Memory cards for all systems it s best to go with the official Nintendo 64 Controller Pak. It may not hold as many pages of memory, but it ll be a more secure way of saving your data.
As a warning, try to stay away from generic memory for the Gamecube, PS1, and PS2 as well. I don t know what it is about all these third party companies that make memory for systems, but it s never reliable. - Don t always believe what you see from the image sometimes?. I absolutely like this product from Nintendo. It is a great way to finally save your memory on this card. I would always have the go through the game from the start to the end for many days on end. It is fun playing the game from the beginning, but it can sometimes be a hassle and take a lot of time to play the video game from the start to the end. Anyway I have to warn you that when I ordered my memory card from this seller. It did not look like the image I see which is a black colored memory card for Nintendo 64 manufactured by Interact / Performance shown on the seller s image. Nice design and I was hoping to get that one, but what I received back from the seller was a smaller, grey regular size official Nintendo memory card, or more likely a clear see through version type. When I put the memory card in the Nintendo 64 controller, then press Start Button leads me into the main menu of the memory card that showed I only show room of 16 pages of memory or I can save 16 many different types of memory to store from the Nintendo 64 video games. On the memory card plastic package it says 123 pages of memory for a bigger version of it. On the clear see-through memory card that I have there is a sticker that says 256K which I do not know what it means. One last thing to add-on is that I also received a Nintendo 64 carrying case for many other memory cards but for bigger versions of memory cards.
- NO MORE LOST GAMES!!!. I USE TO PLAY MONOPOLY ALL THE TIME AND ALMOST WIN AT THE END BUT THE GAME FREZZES. AND I SAY OH NO!!ALSO ON SOME GAMES LIKE SOUTHPARK YOU HAVE TO HAVE A MEMORY CARD OR YOUR WINNING WILL BE GONE FOR GODD. AND I HAVE A LITTLE NEPHEW AND HE MESS UP THE GAME ALL THE TIME SO I COULDN T EVEN PLAY SO I SAID I HAVE TO GET A MEMORY CARD. SO NOW I DON T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS IT WORKS PERFECT. THANKS NINTENDO!!
- Must have for some games. I recommend this for everyone who owns a Nintendo 64. Some games require you to use a memory card, unless you like starting over alot. I also recommend that you purchase two memory cards, because some games take up LOTS of space.
