Customer Ratings: - High voltage and mAh on the weak side. I didn t realize that standard 9v batteries run around 540 mAh. These will not last long. A better option may be the ipower lithium rechargeable 9vs however those are very pricey. I ve ordered the ipower 9Vs as I need something that lasts longer.
- Maha batteries are TERRIBLE!!!. I bought 2 Maha 9 volt batteries because I bought an item that needs almost continuous 9 volt power. For this usage, the manufacturer said a 9 volt battery should last about 100 hours. The first battery I used was a non-rechargeable Energizer. That one actually lasted close to 200 hours. I was impressed, but in need of a more long-term solution than buying more and more Energizers. When my 2 Mahas arrived, I put one in and it lasted about 100 hours. No big deal, I thought. The instructions say that they usually become longer-lasting after a few charges (WRONG). When that one ran out, I put in the second one. It lasted about 8 hours. I was a bit pissed off, but I figured that I only needed that one to get by while the other one recharged. So I kept using them, and instead of lasting longer, they worked for shorter and shorter amounts of time. After FEWER THAN 10 CHARGES, they both last less than 6 hours. These batteries are functionally USELESS to me. I had read reviews about some of Maha s batteries being duds. When the one originally lasted 8 hours, I was convinced that one of mine was a dud. After recharging them both several times, I am convinced that both of them are duds. Maha is badly in need of quality control. I regret buying these batteries. Something this expensive should do what it says. Maha should go out of business. I can say unreservedly that I HATE THEM.
- The best for my paintball hoppers/markers. These batteries last and work great. I can t say enough about these batteries. The power output doesn t fluctuate and they don t slow down until they are completely drained. I also use the Maha charger with this battery.
- Powerful DV battery. I speak with the use of an electro larynx. When a battery goes dead, I m left speechless. Because the Maha PowerEx is more powerful, I can set the volumn level down, which helps it hold a charge. And it holds its charge longer than the other brands and models I ve tested. I m sticking with this one.
I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the case has come off. I don t know if this is dangerous. I just slide it back on and go on with my business. And another issue common to all the batteries I ve tried: they will burn out and melt down in my pocket. Ouch! And I ve not been able to find a convenient carrier made for these guys. My solution--I don t carry spares, so I appreciate the longer charge life of this model even more. I m going to order more of these. - Great rechargable. I bought four of these batteries for two roving mic s that get used 6 days a week 2-4 hours at a time. I wrote the date of purchase on them and 19 months after purchase, one has stopped holding a charge. I m very happy with the life I got out of it and the others are still going strong. Definitely far cheaper than buying throw away 9v all the time. I m very pleased.
