• Ideal present for a horse mad niece.. This book was a huge success with my horse mad 9 year old niece. She is pretty literate so it would be great for older girls as well. A word of warning though - don t follow up next year with another from the same author. Your young relative will have bought/requested/borrowed the whole series during the year and read them all twice!
