Customer Ratings: - Brilliant album, a huge choice of music!. When I first bought this album back in 2007, I liked certain songs but weren t sure about others. Eventually I liked most of the tracks. Now I really love this album. It s Rihanna at her best.
1. Umbrella - this song is really an exception. I liked it when I first heard it and loved it for a very long time. However I began to dislike it when Disturbia came out but now I love it again. 5/5
2. Push Up on Me - I didn t like this track at first but now I think it s alright. The beat is good and brilliant vocals from Rihanna as usual. 3/5
3. Don t Stop The Music - I didn t like this song at first but now I really love it. The beat s so strong and catchy, and brillant Michael Jackson s wanna be startin somethin goes well with this upbeat dance song. This in my opinion should be her second single off the album. 5/5
4. Breakin Dishes - I liked this song at first, then disliked it, now I love it. It is becasue of its catchy tune and brilliant beat that makes this stick in your head and plus Rihanna s attitude make you want more of her songs. 4/5
5. Shut Up And Drive - Now I know Rihanna is trying something different by letting the world know she is not just an R&B star, she is also capable of rock, and she is. However, this single is a good song but not good enough to be a second single, especially after such a massive worldwide hit, Umbrella. There were better songs on the album to be released as scond and third singles, in my opnion. 4/5
6. Hate That I Love You - As usual, I didn t like this song at first and it took some listening for me to like it. Now I think it s a pretty good song. But again Rihanna shouldn t have made this the third single. 3/5
7. Say It - this song is somehow a bit too catchy and the phases were repeated too many times. Despite it being a good song, it does not stay on my list of favourites from this album. 2/5
8. Sell Me Candy - Timbaland is one of my favourite producers. With the Timbaland beats in the background and the electrified Rihanna voice, this song is a lot of fun. 4/5
9. Lemme Get That - I really love this song when I first heard it and even thought of it as a single. However, after excessive listening to this track, I don t like it s much as I used to. 4/5
10. Rehab - this should be the third single, replacing Hate That I Love You. The brilliant Timabland beats and soft guitars, with the voice of Rihanna is unbeatable. 5/5
11. Question Existing - I find this song a bit weird. The entire second verse is like her giving a speech about her life and the weak chorus just brings the overall rating down. 2/5
12. Good Girl Gone Bad - Similar to Hate That I Love You, this song is quite good but should not be a single (which it isn t) 3/5
13. Cry - I really loved this song when I first heard it and continued to like it. It gives the album some variety. Similar to Unfaithful for some reason. 4.5/5
14. Disturbia - this has to be my favourite Rihanna song ever! The catchy bum bum bium bum bum bium bum sounds so good and the brillant chorus and verses really go well with the song. I really like the I think Im gonna aaaaaaaaah bit. Im sure Brian Kennedy (the producer) will be working with Rihanna again. 5/5
15. Take A Bow - I really loved this song when it first came out on radio. I continued to love it to this day. The beat is really good too. Brilliant! 5/5
16. If I Never See Your Face Again - I thought it was alright in the beginning and then it grew cold on me. I never really liked it and the poor production all contribued to its poor chart performance. 3/5
So there you go, my full review of the album. Despite many critisms I said, i still think this album is 5/5.
- The good girl may have gone bad, but not this album!. Rihanna has delivered a cracking album and appears to have stepped away from her Caribbean roots she displayed in her previous album A girl like me into a more mass market accessible album. There are some great tracks on here including push up on me, Rehab, shut up and drive, disturbia and Take a bow. Seveal tracks on this album have made it onto my getting-ready-to-go-out playlist on the ipod. A winner!
- Rihanna. Excellent price, though the fact this is about the 3rd or 4th re-release of the album does leave a bitter taste.
Very straightforward process for downloading the album. - TERRIBLE, AS EVER. Why, oh why, do people continue to buy and like Rihanna s music? Every song she releases is awful, sounds terrible and is generally rucbbish in all areas.
She sings through her nose and sounds like she s got a cold or something. She keeps repeating herself in every song and sings so badly, that you can t even tell what she is singing.
AWFUL! - Good Girl..Good Tunes. Thought the Album was very good, can t really comment as to whether it s too much like her old album as i haven t heard it.
Only really bought it to try out Music Downloading, which i must say was excellent and cheap too. I ve bought 4 Albums this way since.
