- Easy Game for young kids. We bought this game and the Dora game for our young children. We d been hunting high and low for a game our children could play by themselves on the wii and this fits the bill!
Very simple controls, very simple levels. They can miss getting half of the items and still complete the level without having to go back.
The controls are identical between the two games just with different backgrounds and stories. My 4 year old can play this independantly, and it has a mode which will let an older child or sibling assist as well as sets of racing games that they can play together. My children go back and play through levels all the time.
If you want a game for your 3-7 year old to start with to learn to play with the wii by themselves, this is your game. I hope to see more titles in this series soon. - Great game for pre-schoolers!. My four year old daughter has very little experience playing video games and we just bought the wii for her a couple of weeks ago for christmas. So far all of the games have been pretty difficult for her. This is the first game she has been able to have a really great time with. She is able to play this very easily without help from anyone, which makes her feel like she is accomplishing more. I haven t tried any of the other Dora or Diego games but was told that they are exactly the same. Hopefully they will come out with a more diverse selection of great kids games for the younger kids. It seems that most of the WII games are best for children ages 7 and up. This one is great for ages 3 and up or if your little one is just new to video games and needs to get the hang of using the wiimote. In the meantime, my daughter is having a blast with this one!
