You can easily get all the key points from Google s own documentation or SEO websites. The rest consists of common sense, full page images to use up a few more trees and make it look thicker than it really needs to be and a variety of website links that you ll have to pay to use their full services. No doubt the author got a brown envelope full of cash for kindly including them.
For his next book Jon Smith could write In bed with Amazon - How to sell a pointless book by getting all your friends to give it 5 stars. - My last review was removed!. Are we not allowed a negative opinion? My last relatively eloquent albeit negative review was mysteriously removed. How does that work?
This is a complete beginners book there are better ones out there.
Is that balanced enough for you? No I dont work for the competition, nor am I friends with the author. I found it useless compared to other books in the genre.
I wander how long this will stay up. Perhaps if you are going to remove my reviews you might have the decency to email me and let me know. Afterall I am only doing a review based on my own opinion, there are plenty of other reviews on the book which are positive.
Is this web 2.0 or web 2.if you say anything negative you might not buy the book then we all loose money.0
- Smal and well padded. Short and well padded. Might have been an idea to include a checklist to work through all the steps on your own site.
- Good starting point with google. This is a great pocket guide to get you started with how google works, It has easy to follow examples that work.
- Great Coffee table Book. This is a great little book that I have read 4 or 5 times now in the hour it takes to read.
It doesn t go into any real depth but it does give you some great ideas that you can apply right away to your site. In fact if you followed all of the ideas in the book then you would be well on the way to having a nice SEO campaign completed for your website.
Well worth the money and I would recommend thoroughly.
