Customer Ratings: - Tricky ... Sturdy... Big. As mentioned the assembly is a bit dodgy. The instructions gave me the impression the author was on a strict word budget. My best advice for assembly is not to tighten anything down until you are sure you have it right. A more appropriate description might be some dis assembly required as I had to back track several times.
But once completed it appears to be a very sturdy piece of furniture.
This is a large chair! As mentioned in other reviews. At 5 5 my feet do not touch the floor.
All in all very satisfied with the quality. - Great chair, difficult assembly. This is a great chair, especially for its price. It s very comfortable, seems sturdy (I got it yesterday, but I m sure it will last for years). It s bigger than I imagined from the picture. It fit through my door, but only just. Also, I m 5 4, and my feet don t touch the ground while in it, so I d suggest a foot stool if you don t like your feet to dangle while sitting.
However, the assembly was a bit frustrating. I m no handyman by any stretch of the imagination, but it was more difficult than I expected -- but not impossible. I d suggest having a drill (though if you don t already, don t go out to get one before getting the chair!). The pre-drilled holes for the screws were too shallow, and the wood in places too hard to use a screwdriver only. While trying to drill two holes deeper, two of my drill bits got stuck, and then broke in two. So now I have two halves drill bits left in my chair... Luckily it was a cheap drill that I don t use often! The instructions are also pretty bad. The pictures are tiny and poorly printed, so you have to use some trial-and-error. But they re not impossible to follow. - Beautiful!!. I absolutely love these chairs. I bought 2 of them, and the seller gave a combined shipping discount. VERY PLEASED These are fabulous!
- love it. The chair arrived in good shape. The only difficulty was the assembly. The instructions aren t very clear, but with some patience the chair came together and looks great on the deck.
- DAN FROM NY. PURCHASED 2 CHAIRS, ORDERING, DELIVERY AND TRACKING THE DELIVERY ALL WENT WELL. CUSTOMER SERVICE ANSWERED MY ASSEMBLY QUESTIONS VIA EMAIL WITHIN 24 HRS. I WOULD BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
