Customer Ratings: - A low quality toy that has no place on Amazon.co.uk.. Sadly, I agree with Mcareavey - this is a low quality toy that really has no place on Amazon.co.uk. Range (if you can get the units to work at all) is just a few feet, the buttons are far too stiff for small fingers, and the quality of construction is crude. If you ve got a pair of these, don t waste more money buying batteries - just use the things as pretend walkie-talkies. At least, that way, children might have some fun with them.
- Cheap cheap cheap. My 3 year old received these as a gift this Christmas. It quickly became apparent just how poor quality they are - barely audible even when in the same room (with new batteries) and maximum range seems to be just a few feet and certainly not the stated 10m. Also, the Morse Code button simply beeps on one handset and does not transmit to the other.
This is a shame because my son loves Fireman Sam and would really have enjoyed a set that worked properly. For a few pennies more the makers could have made them much better than they are. Best avoided. - Good value Intercom Set. Bought this for my son who is nearly 3yrs old.

The intercom set appears very durable and the sound quality isn t bad for a kids toy. The children are having fun with it but my only issue is that the intercom button that they press to speak is quite small. A bit difficult for little fingers to press and speak at the same time with.
Other than that little gripe, this is a good toy and has a range of 10 metres (approx 33 feet).
