FIFA Manager 09 (PC DVD)
Korisniški Ratings: - CAN ANYONE HELP. I have downloaded all the patches for this game but still it is bug after bug and crash after crash. This game has huge potensial and is quite fun when you can actually play some of it but I have not even been able to play the first league game of the season. is there any way i can get rid of these stupid bugs?
- the best game. i dont get it why are the other giving one star iv played the game no bugs nothing so whats the problem anyway i would reccomend you buy it
- Fun and reasonably detailed football game. If you want an in-depth football management simulation then this is not the game for you. If, however, you want a fun game about football that runs reasonably quickly this is the one you ll want.
The game has 5 difficulty levels from very easy to difficult and a no sacking option if you want to stay at a club no matter what.
Players are listed by their best position, but you can easily find out where else they play with a right click of a mouse. They have about twenty attributes which isn t too many to get your head round, but they also have a level which gives an easy and direct comparison between players. This level takes into account the players abilities and their current form making team selection relatively easy...or you could let your Assistant Manager do it for you.
If buying and selling players is all you want to do, let your assistants take charge of team affairs and just supply him with players.
There is as much depth as you want to get into as you can build all manner of facilities and expand the stadium too. For those who have an interest, you can turn the club into a property company by buying up local buildings, or even building flats and hotels nearby.
Family life is not ignored either and you can choose marriage with kids, living in sin, or being gay.
The thrust of this game is fun rather then the micromanagement beloved of Football Manager or Championship Manager.
It has some irritants, mainly in some bad spellings and some of the jokey comments (if little Adrian gets lost one more time I m having his parents arrested). The menu system is not intuitive and the manual could do with a rewrite to actually help you. But as you play the game and try out all the buttons you ll find what you need.
£20 is probably a bit too much for this game, (£15 would be acceptable), but not exhorbitant.
It s fun and relatively simple, but you MUST have an interest in football to enjoy the game. - Don t understand why 3D doesn t work. I don t know but can anyone please tell or help me how to watch this in 3D Mode, i am playing multiplayer and single players modes but for some reason, none of my matches i can watch is in 3D Mode, it is either videotextplayer mode, text mode or instant results. i don t understand, i have FIFA Manager 2006 that does wonders for me and i enjoyed it so much what s wrong with this 2009 one. I have tried tech support, tried to read the manuals to make sure i have done everything right. If this doesn t work, i am probably gone return this and express my dissapointment with EA
- Better than FM2009 for sure. The depth of this game is way better than any other football manager games I have seen (and yes more than FM 2009).
Some of the reviews here did not do it justice since they were written prior to the release of some of the patches.
Recommended for sure.
