Customer Ratings: - trimmer. It cuts very good and is light for me to handle. It has a little trouble cutting limbs larger than a half inch in diameter.
- Does ok on smaller bushes. This works well if you have smaller hedges to trim. Anything more than half an inch thick and this thing completely locks up. It s ok for light duty.

- Great Product. Very happy with the 17 B&D hedge trimmer. Did a little research and found it was highly recommended by Consumers Reports magazine. Had an older version for 15+ years, and it finally gave out. Don t consider a heavy machine unless you re a body builder! After many hours of trimming you ll be glad you chose this size. Longer blade and heavy weight don t help. I have been using this trimmer for about a month now and love it.
