These heel cups are very good indeed. On walks of 7 to 10 miles I can now remove my boots and carry on walking in normal footwear, whereas before I would have been hobbling back to the car and sore for the next day or so.
I also bought a new pair of walking boots this Spring, and noticed that they also have gel cups built in to the insole, so these are now in my regular, every day shoes.
